Lupe Fiasco

FINALLY! Some fresh, new, and apparently confirmed material off LASERS, his upcoming album that is yet to see a release date, although it shouldn’t be long.
The most obvious things to say are that 1) it’s very chill, and 2) Lupe SINGS!

Just found this newly uploaded remix over at DJ Killer Tomato’s MySpace. He does mostly (if not only) remixes and mash-ups and this is one of my favorites from him. I’m not sure what the instrumental is, but it fits really well.

So it turns out Lupe’s next album won’t be the triple-disc LupE.N.D. after all. After a billion rumors you can read about here or here, his next album Lasers is scheduled for release by the end of the year. Check out this video he posted on YouTube to promote the album:

Rumors were flying around the internet saying Lupe Fiasco was taking on a new persona (with a British accent!) in the UK indie rock outfit Japanese Cartoon, but it is confirmed that he is not the lead singer - and thank god. Lupe Fiasco’s third and alleged final LP will be a three disc set collectively entitled LupE.N.D., consisting of Everywhere, Nowhere, and Down Here. And if the rumors are true, over 50 tracks exist between the three.
