Annuals are about to embark on a two-month tour with Minus The Bear, but even more exciting is tomorrow's release of their anticipated sophomore record, entitled Such Fun.

In their follow-up to 2006's Be He Me, an album "that would seem spazzy if [it wasn't] so polished," the six-piece continues to reach untouched musical ground as they breed a marvelous sound ranging from the acoustic boldness of M. Ward to the momentous highs of Broken Social Scene. The uniquely layered mood swings within each song and across the album may be even more prominent in Such Fun:

Commenting on the album artwork the band says, "It seems like all of the happy, lovely places [Bob Ross] paints always have a bit of sad loneliness and isolation to them too, and some of the songs on our new album can definitely relate to that duality." And yes, Bob Ross is "The Joy of Painting" guy.

Here is the video for "Confessor", the first song off the album.
