The band will release their sixth album entitled Diamond Eyes on May 18th of this year. Note that this is NOT Eros, the album they were working on at the time of Chi's car accident. Chino said Eros will be released eventually, hopefully once Chi is back on his feet. Diamond Eyes is a brand new album that they have made since Chi fell into the coma, and they said it is more optimistic than Eros, which was an experimentally dark album. Sergio Vega fills in on bass for the new one.

The first single, "Rocket Skates", will be available tomorrow for download.

The band is lined up to play the UK's Download festival in Donington Park on June 11-13.
