HEALTH's 2007 album is hardely listenable if you don't like math rock, but that is changing as apparently math rock is just their foundation. Last year we got the HEALTH//DISCO remix album which was already much more listenable (not to mention danceable), and now this: a sort of preview of the September-due Get Colors.

"Die Slow" starts industrial, remains industrial (Lights in the Sky have gotten to them), and is.. what?? Catchy? Until this point HEALTH and the word catchy have been like antonyms but this song packs a lot of energy without a million time signature changes.

The Pictureplane remix takes the grime of the original and flips it inside out, fusing a tropical sound with the dreamy vocals. It's basically a combination of Air France, Windsurf, and a female vocalist, and it's awesome.
