Josh Hodges now leads the synth-pop trio Starfucker, and although their 2008 debut album was pretty cohesive, it didn't quite capture the  band's live energy. Jupiter, out May 5th, should patch that problem somewhat as the band calls it a "sister LP" to their last: most of the new songs have been in the live rotation for quite some time.

The first track off the album "Medicine" is streaming at the Starfucker MySpace. It's one of their most upbeat, and it leaves me wondering a handful of things about the album, primarily how that Copy Remix will sound. Also where the name "Dance Face 2000" could have possibly come from..... I'm stumped.
