Dead Weather: Jack White’s New Band

by Mark Jackson on March 11th, 2009

dead-weatherWhite Stripes boy Jack White has teamed up with a Raconteur and members of The Kills and Queens of the Stone Age, forming a new band named the Dead Weather.
Jack White moves over to the drums (!), Raconteur Jack Lawrence and QOTSA's Dean Fertita take guitars, and Alison Mosshart (and Jack White) do the vocals.

Their album Horebound won't be out till June, but you can check out two of their songs available for download on iTunes: their debut single "Hang You From the Heavens" and a cover of Gary Numan's "Are Friends Electric?".
