"Red Oak Way" gave us a taste of Lockett Pundt's new solo album The Floodlight Collective about a week ago, and now another new song has popped up: "Whiteout". Well, a new version of it. An early demo of "Whiteout" was posted on the Deerhunter blog way back in August 2007.

It's really spaced out (surprising, right?), with Lockett delivering wary echoing vocals atop smooth guitar chords and shimmering tambourine. That description remind you of anything? *Atlas Sound, cough* Yeah, Lockett and bandmate Bradford Cox have verrryyy similar musical taste (Deerhunter = cohesiveness), and if you ever thought otherwise, here's your proof:
